JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Bus Driver position involves driving a bus with a high level of skill, following designated routes, schedules, policies, and State Vehicle Code regulations. The primary responsibility of the Bus Driver is to transport employees on established routes or planned trips. This role is distinct from Transporters, who are responsible for transporting supplies and materials on designated routes.

Work Schedule: 9-730pm

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Drive a bus along specified routes according to set schedules

• Pick up and drop off employees at designated stops

• Assist handicapped individuals in boarding and exiting the bus, provide necessary escorts

• Conduct daily inspections of the bus for safety, report any mechanical issues

• Maintain cleanliness of bus interior, windows, and mirrors

• Wash the bus as needed

• Keep accurate records of passenger numbers, mileage, departure and arrival times, and other relevant information.
