Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Compensation Analyst to manage the administration of our sales compensation programs. This role ensures compliance with legal standards while aligning with business objectives. You’ll oversee incentive structures, commissions, bonuses, and sales performance data governance, while also handling accurate monthly manual incentive calculations. You will collaborate across teams to document compensation programs and identify process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency.

  • Growth: Administer compensation plans that drive sales performance and align with strategic business goals.

  • People: Support retention and motivation of the sales team through competitive, fair, and transparent compensation programs.

  • Accuracy: Ensure integrity, compliance, and accuracy in administering sales compensation plans.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer sales compensation plans, including incentives, commissions, and bonuses, while ensuring compliance with established governance standards.

  • Conduct regular audits of sales compensation data for accuracy, compliance with wage and hour laws, and alignment with company objectives.

  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, pay disparities, and optimization opportunities.

  • Support the design and implementation of new or revised compensation strategies to ensure equity and address pay compression.

  • Assist in deploying compensation tools and technology to automate sales compensation tracking, reporting, and payment processes.

  • Develop and maintain detailed reports for leadership, highlighting compensation outcomes, sales performance, and plan effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, including wage and hour regulations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to assess business needs and develop solutions that enhance sales performance.

  • Participate in special projects such as system enhancements, compensation reviews, and process improvements.

    Requirements

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in compensation, with a focus on sales compensation administration and plan governance.

  • Proven experience in designing and managing sales compensation programs, including incentives, commissions, and payment calculations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, formatting) and other MS Office or Google Suite products.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration
