Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for driving a forklift and preparing units for daily shipping and receiving. You will be required to operate various types of lifts, including the Reach and Turret lifts. Additionally, you will perform other tasks such as processing, order picking, and maintaining inventory. The role consists of 50% forklift operation and 50% other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift to transport materials

• Prepare units for daily shipping and receiving

• Operate Reach and Turret lifts

• Perform processing and order picking tasks

• Maintain a clean and organized inventory (5S)

• Handle materials and perform loading and unloading tasks

• Utilize RF scanner for inventory management

Essential Skills

• Experience operating Reach Truck and Turret Truck

• Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes

• Material handling and loading skills

• Ability to operate an RF scanner

• Must pass a forklift demonstration scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have steel toe boots/shoes when starting

You will work in a manufacturing and production environment that is non-climate controlled. The building is metal-free, ensuring a safe workspace. Steel toe boots/shoes are required for safety.

This is a Contract position based out of MEMPHIS, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
