Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

Guarantee the preparation of precise financial statements in line with GAAP/IFRS standards. Promote a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement. Supervise all financial activities, including budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Track budget variances and suggest corrective measures.

  • Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline financial processes and ensure accurate data management.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting and purchasing team.

  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate new technologies.

  • Perform financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits and apply recommendations.

  • Uphold and enforce internal controls to protect company assets.

  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.

  • Assist in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Manage accounting systems and software, ensuring accuracy and optimization.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

  • Support cash flow management and financial planning initiatives.

  • Execute all job duties with a lean mindset and in accordance with safety policies.

  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to monitor and control production costs.

  • Undertake special projects as assigned.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years accounting management role

  • Cost Accounting management and manufacturing

Work Environment

Onsite work environment - need to be onsite daily.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
