Job Summary

Leonardo DRS in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to support the management of government engineering development programs from concept through delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program monitoring, data analysis, and effective collaboration with diverse teams. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and exceed customer expectations.

What You Will Do

• Act as a key support resource to manage all phases of government engineering development programs, from initial concept to final delivery.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.

• Monitor program performance through data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, procurement, and quality assurance, to achieve project objectives.

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and government customers.

• Ensure compliance with all DoD and US Navy regulations, standards, and requirements.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and reviews.

• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders.

• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a government contracting environment.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certified or a desire to obtain one.

• Proven track record of managing complex engineering development programs.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera), Earned Value Management System (EVMS), and Agile methodologies.

• Understanding of DoD acquisition processes and regulations; experience with the US Navy is highly preferred.

• Candidates must be US citizens (no dual citizenship) and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
