Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist . The person that fills this position will be a member of a high performing, collaborative team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management, and interpersonal skills. This person will be encouraged to actively help the team to continuously improve and develop innovative and creative solutions to products and processes.

As a Support Engineering Data Specialist, you will monitor and report obsolescence for a fielded equipment systems or multiple sub systems. You will collect, research and analyze source data and validate source data based on predefined and developed assumptions. Estimates the impact of the proposal or changes to the current or future design, development, and sustainment plans for a system or sub-systems.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Mesa, AZ location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports developing, analyzing collecting, and storing various system support technical data elements and specifications for evaluation and assists with making recommendations.

  • Supports providing recommendations on product supportability and establishing product supportability operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for a single equipment subsystem.

  • Assists with identifying and analyzing logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report.

  • Supports determining spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for a single customer and contract type.

  • Participates in preparing technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components.

  • Supports reviewing aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Aircraft logistics data.

  • Experience working with multiple functions/teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Military Aircraft logistics data and drawings

  • Experience in performing reparability analysis

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

This position is for 1st shift

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range : 64,600 - 87,400
