Robert Half Community Manager in Miami Beach, Florida

Description

We are seeking an experienced and personable Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 200-unit apartment condo. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and able to manage all aspects of property management, including tenant relations, maintenance, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tenant Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents.

  • Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Organize and facilitate community events to foster a sense of community.

  • Property Maintenance:

  • Oversee routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the property is well-maintained.

  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors for larger projects.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any issues.

  • Leasing and Occupancy:

  • Manage the leasing process, including showing units, processing applications, and executing leases.

  • Ensure high occupancy rates by implementing effective marketing and retention strategies.

  • Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities.

  • Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the property’s annual budget.

  • Oversee rent collection and ensure timely deposits.

  • Review and approve invoices, and monitor expenses to stay within budget.

  • Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.

  • Stay updated on property management best practices and legal requirements.

  • Implement and enforce community policies and procedures.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records, including resident files and property documentation.

  • Prepare regular reports on occupancy, financials, and maintenance activities for the Property Management Director.

  • Utilize property management software to streamline operations.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience in property management or a similar role.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).

  • Knowledge of local housing laws and regulations.

  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.
