Carnival Cruise Line Entertainment Logistics & Warehousing Coordinator in Miami, Florida
Job Description
In this position, your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing the storage and preparation of the Entertainment Department's inventory and supplies. You will be a vital support to the Entertainment Warehouse Manager and Supervisor, handling tasks such as pick-orders, receiving Entertainment supplies, reviewing purchase orders (POs), monitoring par levels, and facilitating the shipment of goods and inventory from the warehouse facility to the vessels or shoreside locations. Upholding quality control standards will be ensured through periodic inventory audits and the maintenance of our inventory management system. Safely and proficiently maneuver and arrange inventory within the warehouse using a forklift, ensuring both security and efficiency in material handling.
Essential Functions:
Logistical Operations: Collaborate and support the Entertainment Supervisors for Carnival Entertainment initiatives and projects through on going communication and leveraging our systems and tools to ensure streamlined workflow to meet all demands. Collaborate closely with the Entertainment Warehouse Manager to handle and fulfill pick-orders and manage the inbound of all supplies. Monitor par levels through conducting physical inventories for the purpose of verifying available stock, equipment and/or fixed assets, identifying losses and maintaining records of inventories and fixed assets.
Inventory Management: Execute the management of all inbound and outbound goods by ensuring they are accurately entered into the appropriate inventory management system and lodge goods in the proper storage location once fully processed. Monitor incoming pick orders generated through the IMS and issue ticketing for fulfillment and reconcile all necessary system records to reflect actual stock levels once it’s been shipped. Operate a forklift as needed, contribute to the efficiency of these operations by facilitating the movement and storage of inventory within the warehouse.
Task Execution: Work closely with the Logistics Manager to receive and prioritize tasks and assignments. Execute assigned tasks accurately and efficiently within specified deadlines. Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with established guidelines, quality standards, and safety protocols. Utilize knowledge of Import-Export logistics processes & documents to facilitate the smooth flow of goods between warehouse, vessels, and shoreside locations. Operate a forklift skillfully as needed to support these tasks, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and materials in alignment with logistical requirements.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other coordinator, Supervisor and Manager to support the smooth flow of operations. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clear understanding of tasks and expectations. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic.
Maintenance and Support: Responsible for the accurate maintenance of our Asset Panda inventory, ticketing system, emails and documentation related to logistical activities. Identify and report any issues or discrepancies in relations to the logistical operations through regularly audits and inspections of the supply chain processes, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Ensure consistent communication by delivering routine progress reports to the Traveling Entertainment Supervisors & Project Managers regarding the advancement of tasks and projects. Identify and address any issues related to bottlenecks, potential issues in logistical operations.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to efficiently coordinate and schedule the movement of all goods/equipment required for special projects such as dry docks or holiday initiatives onboard the vessels.
Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient layout of the Entertainment warehouse. Regularly assess and adjust the layout based on evolving inventory needs and industry best practices to continually improve warehouse functionality.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Associate's Degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related discipline preferred
2+ years of experience in a similar position/warehouse setting required
Industry experience as a warehouse coordinator or equivalent preferred
Experience driving a stand-up forklift required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use computers, software and other inventory technology related to inventory management and for communication purposes.
Expertise in Import-Export Operations with a focus on the efficient loading and offloading of cruise vessels worldwide.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.
Understanding of supply chain to include common obstacles and effective solutions.
Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, orders, and warehouse layout efficiently.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Physical Demands: Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds. May need to stand for long periods of time.

Work Conditions: Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
This position is classified as “in-office.” Because of the nature of the role, employees are required to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida five days each week. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
