WSP USA Sr. Water Resources Project Manager in Miami, Florida

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search in our Miami, Florida office for a Sr. Water Resources Project Manager with extensive experience in the Water Industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of our dynamic and highly talented multi-disciplinary team supporting municipal water / wastewater projects including pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, collection and conveyance systems and rehabilitation, stormwater and water resources projects and will also have the opportunity to support transportation projects. This is a practice building role and will include business development activities to nurture and grow existing clients and develop new clients and sub consultants as well as project management for key clients. This role will provide overall leadership to the South Florida Water business line in collaboration with other local business line leaders in the district and region including: Environment, Planning & Advisory Services, Transportation, Property & Buildings, Pursuit Management, Strategic Growth Team.   • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water Resources or closely related discipline.

  • 10+ years of relevant post education experience in water resources engineering.

  • Professional License

  • Strong business development with connections to local agencies and municipalities in Florida.

  • Experience with change management.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience.
