Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,700 people in the UK. BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including many training services. As the company grows we have a need to expand our current Training Capability with the Apache AH64-E helicopter. We are looking to hire an Apache AH64-E Groundcrew Instructor (Customer Training Specialist) to work at our Middle Wallop site, joining the instructor team, to deliver Apache AH64-E training to military customer Groundcrew.

This is a challenging and rewarding position where you will join our team of Boeing Instructors and be responsible for the daily delivery of customer training within the new state of the art Apache Academy.

The job will be varied, and it is highly likely than no two days will be the same. Essential knowledge and experience:

  • Apache E-model

  • Aviation Mission Planning (Operator and Administrator)

  • Apache cryptographic upload procedures

  • Training Delivery of both theory and practical subjects

Desirable knowledge and experience:

  • Apache Groundcrew tasks

  • Training processes and documentation such as Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)

Essential Capabilities:

  • Competent IT skills and proficient in MS Office tools

Desirable Licences and Qualifications:

  • Formal training qualifications such as AET Level 3 or equivalent

  • Security Clearance (SC)

This position does not have sponsorship approval. This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE CURRENT LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IMMEDIATELY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. BOEING WILL NOT ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN IMMIGRATION AND LABOUR SPONSORSHIP FOR ANY APPLICANTS.

Please Note: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an intrusive security clearance process, which will require 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK.
