POSITION
: Parts Sorter (2nd Shift) LOCATION: Milan, MI COMPENSATION: $17.00 per hour plus $0.85 shift differential; OT after 40 hours
SHIFTS/HOURS:
- Monday-Friday; 3:30pm-2:00am
- Overtime as necessary to achieve shift production goals (weekdays and weekends could be required and mandated)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Parts Sorter to join our team at a leading precision stamping company in Milan, MI. This is a temporary to direct hire position that offers the opportunity to build a long-term career in the manufacturing industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sorting and Inspection:
- Receive shipments of metal parts and visually inspect them for quality and conformity to specifications.
- Utilize sorting tools and equipment to separate parts based on size, shape, and other relevant criteria.
- Identify and remove defective or non-conforming parts to maintain high-quality standards. Organizing and Categorizing:

``` - Arrange sorted parts in an organized manner to facilitate easy retrieval and distribution to the production line. - Maintain accurate records of sorted parts, including quantities and specifications, to ensure proper inventory management. Collaboration:

``` - Work closely with other team members, including production line workers, quality control personnel, and warehouse staff, to ensure seamless communication and workflow. - Report any issues or discrepancies in the sorting process to supervisors promptly. Adherence to Safety Protocols:

``` - Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment. - Properly handle and dispose of defective or damaged parts according to established safety procedures. Equipment Operation:

``` - Operate sorting machinery, such as conveyor belts, scales, and automated sorting systems, with attention to safety and efficiency. - Perform routine maintenance checks on sorting equipment and report any malfunctions. Continuous Improvement:
Participate in process impr
