The Director, EMEA Regional Marketing will be a key member of the EMEA SU leadership team and will be leading efforts in articulation with the Commercial leaders to develop and drive the EMEA marketing strategy.

The Director, EMEA Regional Marketing will be a key contributor to the LBS global marketing strategy and is expected to play a key role on its definition and effective implementation for EMEA.

This role necessitates strong people leadership with proven track record, to retain and grow a team of marketing professionals, driving superior collaboration with the Commercial team, excellent interpersonal skills supported by business acumen and the ability to effectively articulate and drive strategy into action.

In this role you will be responsible for driving growth across EMEA. Specific regional marketing-related activities will focus on:

  • Hiring, developing, and retaining marketing talent

  • Actively participating and be one of the key leaders developing and owning the EMEA Marketing strategy

  • Developing and implementing the EMEA marketing strategy, aligned with the overall commercial growth plans in supporting the region revenue and market share growth ambition.

  • Establishing marketing as a “growth engine” by implementing rigor around market visibility, segmentation, and competitive positioning to tap into current and adjacent opportunities

  • Leveraging the Danaher Growth tools to drive, focus, efficiency and alignment with the EMEA Commercial teams (PD, Growth rooms, Lead Council, DM)

  • Driving continuous improvement and optimize (operational ) performance across the EMEA marketing team through leveraging DBS tools

  • Driving demand generation activities through digital and traditional channels in close collaboration with the central team and in alignment with the commercial teams

  • Launching new products with impactful marketing activities through close collaboration with global and campaign teams.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS/BA in Business management, marketing or health sciences, advanced degree preferred.

  • Multiple years of combined experience in marketing, product management and commercial leadership, preferably in life sciences, diagnostics, or the medical device industry. Experience in both marketing and sales with proven track record is highly valued.

  • Proven capability to influence and drive cross-functional teams to successful execution of plans; ensure accountability, motivate people, and maximize impact/results.

  • Demonstrated success in working in a matrixed environment. Ability to successfully navigate in a dynamic, fast-paced, outcome-driven environment.

  • Ability to build consensus across diverse business focus areas and multiple sales teams

  • A proven track record of driving profitable revenue and market share growth, demonstrated over a sustained period

  • Strong communication skills and experience communicating and interacting with senior leaders

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, market segmentation and competitive analysis tools with strong qualitative (VOC) and quantitative (analytical modeling) assessment skills and experience and the ability to interpret large amounts of information
