Summary of Responsibilities/DutiesIndustrial Maintenance Mechanic that is experienced in repairs and installations of all equipment and machines at our Millville, N.J. Plant. We are looking for an individual that can work independently and with a team. Must be able to communicate effectively. Someone who is excited to learn and willing to share their knowledge with our team.Additional skill-sets include having basic electrical working knowledge, to advanced 220/480V experience.Job Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of VFD’s, PLC’s, HMI interfaces Highly desired. Installation and adjustments of such required.Ability to do fabrication work a Plus! Welding, erecting, creating.Ability to run manual Mill, Lathe, Surface grinder desired but not necessary.Inspect, maintain and repair electrical, mechanic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and machinery to be in proper working order.Analyze, problem solve and think strategically to solve equipment issues and find the root cause by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Disassemble and re-assemble machinery and/or equipment, using power and hand tools.Controlling downtime with preventive maintenance and by communicating with staff.Implementing contingency strategies, based on data and measurable information.Completing preventive maintenance requirements on pumps, motors, pneumatic tools, electrical systems, and production machines; by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctionsWork with Operations on daily operations to continuously improve teams.Ability to troubleshoot 12v to 480v systems. Heaters, Chillers and pumps.Position Requirements:Mechanical, Electrical, or any relevant Engineering discipline. A minimum of 5 years of industrial Maintenance career experience.Willingness to work overtime as necessary and respond to rotating call-ins during off-shift periods.Physical Demands:Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate and feel objects; stoop; kneel; crouch, crawl, and climb maintaining body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures and see and hear well.Lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.Stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time.Pay Frequency:WeeklyThis Job Is:A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to applyOpen to applicants who do not have a college diplomaIf you are interested in this opportunity, we would love to have a conversation with you.
