JOB REQUIREMENTS: - As a Designer I your goal is to prepare layouts and designs of simple components, assemblies or tooling from data and specifications submitted by others through Computer Aided Design tools. You\'ll also check basic models and prints for proper use of design techniques. You will do this by: Designing simple components, assemblies or tooling Producing and modifying basic 3D models and detail drawings Processing ECNs, with marked up drawings and bills of materials as needed Redesigning components and assemblies for functional improvements or cost reductions Reviewing parts for production based on inspection reports Checking basic models and prints for proper use of modeling techniques and design standards Ensuring the New Product Development process is being followed at all times The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
