Primary Functions * Present findings to Department and Senior Leadership in a form that tells the story behind the analysis. * Supports complex departments with multiple missions/lines of business (e.g. clinical departments). * Proactively measure and report key business trends that will impact financial results. * Lead ad hoc analyses (e.g. cost savings, reimbursement, etc.) * Partner with departments to develop innovative solutions to solve financial pressures (cost reduction and revenue optimization). * Review, interpret, analyze and make recommendations of annual and ad hoc budget submissions. * Prepare and present Executive Summary for submitted budgets and monthly variance analysis & narrative that links operational trends with financial outcomes. * Measure and report key business trends that will impact financial results. * Provide support, training, and guidance of department budgetary system. * Examine, communicate, implement and resolve discrepancies between budget and finance information. * Perform complex analysis of data and identify and communicate trends, data manipulation, and report generation. * Apply results of analysis of multiple complex reports to produce recommendations for management and various stakeholders. * Prepare ad hoc requests and provide financial interpretation, analysis and market-based information to multiple stakeholders.
