MEAD & HUNT INC Legal Administrative Assistant in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Legal Department at our West Allis, WI office. The hours for this position could vary weekly from 15 to 30, potentially sometimes more than 30, and may occasionally exceed 40. Since this position is part-time, there are no benefits; however, this position could potentially be converted to a regular full-time, benefits-eligible position and also has potential to support other capacities within the Legal Department. Responsibilities include: Administrative Support Handle entire lifecycle of State registrations and licenses, including initial applications, renewals, and amendments, with guidance from legal team. Research and monitor Company\'s licensing requirements and deadlines. Ensure timely submission of required documentation to regulatory agencies. Word processing of legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and presentations under the guidance of legal professionals and in accordance with company standards. Maintain and organize contracts and other relevant documentation in accordance with company standards. Assist with company-wide use of electronic-signature platform. NDA Administration Under the guidance of the Department\'s attorneys and other personnel, learn to assist with the administration of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) throughout the organization. Assist with the coordination of review and execution of NDAs with internal and external parties. Assist with maintenance of a centralized database of executed NDAs. Communication and Relationship Management Along with others in the Legal Department, serve as a liaison between the department and internal/external stakeholders. Coordinate communication and information flow between legal professionals and other departments. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with others. Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Facilitate communication and clarification regarding State registration and licensing and NDA terms. Miscellaneous Stay updated on changes in regulations, company procedures, licensing requirements, software, and NDA trends. Undertake special projects or assignments as directed by the Legal Department.
