The Headlines:

In the role of Senior Manager- Electrical Automation and Controls you will be managing a team of professional engineers to deliver Electrical and Automation Control Systems Strategy in the Packaging and Warehousing areas within T&PS and the North American Supply Chain. This Team also supplies ACE support for all projects across Supply Chain for NA as well as supporting Capital Projects to deliver defined business case outcomes, providing value, budget and schedule for these projects. You must also work with IT and the Plant Manufacturing through the Control Systems Managers located at most sites. Additionally, you will provide the mentoring and leadership to all CSM's and ACE support team members, to align with the corporate strategy.

The Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervize a team of professional engineers who provide electrical, controals and automation support to the Packaging D&E team as well as support to the CSM's in each location

  • Controls system strategy and implementation '

  • Projects Managed and Supported including monthly cashflow and reporting

  • Problems and incidents managed

  • Monitor and review project supporting documentation and ACE checklists

  • Provide project management expertise to assist in executing capital projects timeously and within budget

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a technical degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent

  • You have more than 15 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in manufacturing systems with electical, controls and automation experience in process and high speed packaging experience

  • Experience with large complex projects / programmes

  • Budgeting and Cashflow management

  • Knowledge of World Class Supply Chain

  • Proven managerial skills and able to develop and mentor team members

  • High level of organizational planning capabilities

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service

  • The ability to analyse data and recognize detrimental trends that could impact the company through increased costs or regulatory risk
