Description

Robert Half is partnering with a client in the recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join their team in Milwaukee, WI due to growth. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the company's AP, AR, general ledger, cash flow and financial statement prep and analysis.

3 days remote, full benefits and paid vacation/holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounts payable and receivable systems; review invoices, resolve discrepancies, and process payments.

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements.

• Conduct thorough vendor pricing analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate in creating and maintaining a formalized budgeting process by providing data and analysis.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Maintain the general ledger, create new accounts, and make general journal entries as needed.

• Assist with monthly accounts receivable review and collection efforts.

• Assist with special accounting projects as requested.

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor degree in a business related field preferred

• Must have proficiency in Account and Bank Reconciliation

• Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Must have experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Must have experience with financial statement preparation
