Position Summary: Responsible for supervising and assessing the third shift team of youth treatment specialists as they interact with residents and provide for the day-to-day care and supervision of youth at the Youth Crisis Stabilization Program Essential Functions: Provide weekly individual supervision and conduct performance evaluations for third shift Lead Youth Treatment Specialists and Youth Treatment Specialists. Provide shift supervision, training and coaching of third shift staff. Provide leadership for operations team and role model for the Lead Youth Treatment Specialists. Perform third shift room checks per policy and follow clinical recommendations for safety such as the suicide protocol, involving the crisis response team, following safety plans and protocols as needed. Ensure youth\'s needs are being met by staff and that staff are carrying out clinical recommendations for treatment. Lead shift transition meetings, staff meetings, and regularly communicate with staff. Ensure all documentation is completed within the timelines identified by the funding and licensing agencies.This includes shift reports, incident reports, and communication logs, etc. Provide oversight, structure, and implement protocols for staff. Collaborate with Youth Crisis Stabilization Program team to ensure youth remain safe and supervised at all times. Attend clinical supervision and ensure staff carryout the recommendations made in clinical supervision per DHS 34. Evaluates and mediates youth and staff concerns and complaints, as needed. Administer medication and ensure staff are aware of medication changes in collaboration with medical providers and nursing staff. Fulfill on-call rotation of services and responsibilities for management and staffing needs, staffing concerns and programmatic needs Provide shift coverage for leads during paid leave and vacancies.
