The ideal candidate has experience in electronic and digital communications, including websites, mass email, and digital media; keen attention to detail and deadlines; strong writing, design, and communications skills; and a proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment with wide-ranging activities and diverse internal and external constituencies. Responsibilities: Website & Content Management (50%) Plan, create, publish and edit content to attract and serve internal and external stakeholders Ensure all content is up-to-date, high quality, accessible and consistent with brand and style guidelines Responsible for information architecture, planning and organizing content to ensure optimal user experience and ensuring responsive design is applied across our sites, including intranets Perform regular audits to ensure content is up-to-date, accurate and in line with brand standards Respond to and execute web update requests directly Create systems and processes to streamline content maintenance Optimize web content keywords and text to drive high search engine rankings for dentistry clinics website Research new ideas and methods to stay up to date on digital trends and current user expectations. Oversee Google Analytics and create reports for teams across School of Dentistry Some back-end web design and development, as needed Social Media & Analytics (20%) Coordinate with school stakeholders to gather content and help maintain robust editorial calendar Create, suggest and plan content for social media that represents the School of Dentistry brand Attend school events and capture photos and content for social media Coordinate social media calendar and posting schedule with social media student worker Perform monthly, quarterly and annual analytics reports Mass Email (20%) Create html mass emails (Salesforce or html mass software system), manage html mass email templates, manage email recipients and train college users on the university mass email system Track email analytic data, ensuring that all messages meet university and School of Dentistry mass email standards Create and manage college email listservs Manage electronic and virtual communication experiences Other (10%) Design graphics and maintain brand identity, ensuring consistency with university guidelines Serve as a technical liaison in regards to communication software platforms Serve as technical support at school events Photography and videography as needed and as in line with skills Qualifications All required qualifications must be included in the application materials Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree or combination of related education and work experience to equal at least four years. Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years demonstrated experience developing and maintaining websites Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Drupal, mobile website development, Google Search Appliance, Google Analytics, and search engine optimization best practices. Experience with creating, managing, and directing design and content architecture for a website and for an intranet system. Skilled in web editing, writing, and design. Proven experience innovating new ways of communicating via multimedia, text and images. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong commitment to customer service. Experience in conducting web usability research. Ability to solve problems and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
