ABOUT THIS POSITION Reporting to the US Sales leader, the Director, Sales Training position will drive strategic selling training leveraging best practices and tactics across the US sales organization. This role will work closely with colleagues in sales leadership, human resources, marketing, and clinical training to refresh and enhance the current sales training and development curriculum. The refreshed curriculum and content will focus on developing productive Inspire programs referred to as ecosystems. This role will curate training programs that will result in consistent sales performance for both new hires and legacy field sales personnel. In addition, the role will provide tools and training for sales management to ensure they are well equipped to coach to the refreshed curriculum. OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Continuously refresh and evolve the Inspire sales training curriculum to meet the needs of our rapidly growing and changing business. Rally the field sales team around the essential power competencies which enable us to build highly productive ecosystems. Develop a cadence of field-based sales training workshops in coordination with sales leadership. Ensure that sales leadership is well equipped to own and coach to key sales training competencies. Build strong relationships with our marketing team to ensure that field tools are scoped, created, and deployed for maximum impact. Ensure curriculum enables field team to assess needs and drive strong results at new, thriving, and struggling ecosystems. Document product and therapy related field reports within the prescribed timelines, and provide necessary documents required to complete investigation. Provide follow-up reporting as needed. Complete training requirements and competency confirmations as required for this position within the required timeline. Comply with applicable quality system procedures/policies and make suggestions for continuous process improvement. WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM Required: Bachelor's degree in business, science or engineering required. Minimum of 10 years in medical device sales. Minimum of 2 years in medical device sales management. Significant experience with building markets for new therapies. High impact communication skills. Proven record of working effectively with sales teams. Preferred: Master's degree in business preferred. Experience in marketing and/or sales training. SALARY The salary for this position is expected to be between ($183,000-$248,000) and will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
