Description

We are in search of a Manager-Bank Vendor Management to join our team in the Investment Advisory sector, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity with a hybrid working model. As a Manager-Bank Vendor Management, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our vendor management operations, working closely with business partners and vendors to manage risk and ensure contract adherence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in vendor and risk management. Must have experience within a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, monitoring, and issues remediation, while ensuring compliance with the Interagency Guidance on Third-Party Relationships: Risk Management.

• Establish and maintain working relationships with Business Partners and Third-party Vendors to understand business requirements in the delivery of products and services.

• Participate in sourcing and procurement processes related to new contracts, renewals, and amendments, providing guidance to the line of business on opportunities to avoid or mitigate risk.

• Work with Business Partners and vendors on risk management deliverables to ensure compliance with Enterprise Bank and Regulatory requirements.

• Adhere to reporting requirements and collect data to develop vendor scorecards that track performance.

• Monitor vendor performance and work directly with vendors on areas needing resolution, tracking the progress of remediation.

• Continually update Archer and Vendor Management Tool with vendor requirements, risk assessments, questionnaires, performance scorecards, and evidential documents.

• Lead governance meetings focusing on service level metrics and issue management, contributing to the ongoing process of evaluating service quality.

• Participate in Vendor Risk Assessment calls and manage all subsequent actions with vendors.

• Conduct governance meetings with the line of business and vendors.

• Manage third-party vendor issues and communicate appropriately within the business.

Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills

• Experience in vendor management, including onboarding, contracts, and risk assessment

• Knowledge of quality assurance best practices and monitoring tools

• Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

• Experience in risk management, including mitigation and remediation strategies

• Ability to oversee deliverables and manage third-party relationships

• Proficiency in developing and managing business requirement documents

• Knowledge of salary structures and business partnerships

• Experience in sourcing and overseeing vendors

• Ability to implement and maintain oversight procedures.
