They will work with the Naturally MN Board and Holmes Center Staff and Interns in order to maintain operations, respond to programming needs and planning, and support any sponsorship conversations that may arise during the leave. Start Date: Mid-September 2024 Estimated End Date: January 31, 2025 The role will cover the following general responsibilities: Lead the delivery of 5+ Naturally MN events during November-January, including scheduling, content and venue management Participate and support Food Ag Ideas events in October Oversee email, social media and other marketing efforts Respond to communications from 75+ ecosystem partners and sponsors Participate in UMN, Naturally Network and community planning meetings Lead other member of the Naturally MN board to plan 2025 events and programs Support any fundraising conversations that arise with Sponsorship Committee and/or appropriate U of M contacts. Coordinate efforts of Holmes Center support staff and interns The employer reserves the right to change or assign duties to this position Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active participant in Minnesota's entrepreneurial ecosystem for food and agriculture Experience working with the Holmes Center and University of Minnesota on outreach programs supporting Minnesota's entrepreneurial ecosystem for food and agriculture Private sector experience working for or with companies in the food or agriculture industries BA/BS degree or a combination of related education and work experience to equal at least four years Outstanding written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Naturally MN Board Member Two+ years of relevant, professional experience Experience interfacing with sponsors and senior executives Self-directed problem solver Interest in startups, technology, entrepreneurship Social media management experience Content management, web-editing or graphic design experience About the Department About Naturally MN Our mission is to strengthen Minnesota's natural and organic businesses to drive equitable prosperity for people and the planet.
