Description

We are looking for a dedicated Personal Injury Paralegal to support our law firm client. This role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include processing legal documents, managing case files, and providing comprehensive support to our legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility includes preparing and managing discovery responses effectively

• File new litigation claims with the court and keep track of all related processes and procedures

• Provide litigation support, helping with all activities associated with the lawsuit process

• Meeting clients during the discovery phase; comfortable in interacting and establishing relationships with clients

• Understands diversity and has the ability to comfortably work with clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds

• Continually interact and communicate with clients, attorneys, and court officials regarding case progress and updates

• Assisting in the preparation or reviewing of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and orders

• Use Case Management Software to organize and track case files effectively

• Utilize Adobe Acrobat for processing legal documents and maintaining records

• Handle briefing and claim administration tasks to support attorneys in preparing for trials

• Collaborate with the team to manage workload and ensure efficient work processes

• Leverage your skills in legal research and document drafting to support the team's objectives

• Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive information and adhere to legal standards at all times.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Paralegal role, specifically in personal injury.

• Familiarity with Case Management Software

• Experience in Briefing and Calendar Management.

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to continue learning and improving legal knowledge.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
