Description

We are in the search for a Sr. Accountant to be a part of our team. The primary function of this role is to analyze complex financial data, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to process improvements within the financial services industry. This is a contract opportunity where you will be collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment of accounting practices with organizational goals.

Advanced Accounting Analysis: Perform supporting analysis across various accounting functions by preparing complex reports, statements, and interpretations. Utilize in-depth knowledge of accounting practices and interrelationships to support both management and external agencies.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal management, internal audits, external audits, and additional regulatory agencies.

Cross-Departmental Expertise: Maintain a strong working knowledge of department processes and the broader business areas supported, ensuring accounting practices align with organizational goals.

Process Optimization: Provide recommendations to management on improving processes and systems to drive greater efficiency and accuracy.

Independent & Collaborative Work: Operate independently while effectively engaging with various levels of management to achieve organizational objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Accounting and Investment Operations teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting across the organization.

Investment Documentation: Prepare clear and concise documentation for investment characteristics, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
