Dorsey & Whitney Tax, Trusts, and Estates Paralegal in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Minneapolis office is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our Tax, Trusts & Estates practice group. As a valued colleague, you will team with attorneys in all phases of administering complex estates. This position will require being on-site in our Minneapolis office four days a week, with the option for a hybrid schedule one day a week. In this role, you will: Team with attorneys in all phases of administering complex estates and trusts, including, but not limited to, preparation of Court documents, accountings and plans of distribution. Engage directly with clients. Compile and analyze tax information; identify issues and resolutions; and prepare tax planning models and projections. Prepare complex estate planning tax projections. Prepare tax returns (fiduciary, estate, gift and GST, individual and related entities); respond to tax notices and correspondence; prepare amended returns and assist with audit process or tax court proceedings. Draft basic wills and revocable trusts. May be requested to perform other duties not listed above.
