Shift Miller in flour mill looking for rotating shift person. Looking for someone to operates, monitors, and inspects all equipment in cleaning house and mill. Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

Job Description:

When necessary makes adjustments to elevator equipment, makes necessary repairs and reports problems to the Head Miller.

Reviews production schedule, log books and shift assignments with Head Miller and other milers at the beginning of each shift.

Monitors milling equipment and makes necessary adjustments to obtain optimum production and quality.

Makes necessary repairs to sifter sieves, cleaning house equipment screens and MKL screens.

Assists the mechanics with repairs and roll changes, as necessary. Conducts filter media changes.

Periodically weighs and sifts samples to ensure the proper extraction rates, and makes the necessary adjustments.

Completes all necessary quality and production reports on a timely basis.

Monitors sanitary conditions and report substandard situations. Communicates key observations or problems for the on-coming Shift Miller at the end of each shift.

Keeps production records.

Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: 2nd shift 3pm - 11:30pm

Work Location: 5600 4th Ave NE, Minot, ND 58703

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $28.70 per hour, with an additional $0.15 per hour shift differential
