Summary:

The Baker is responsible for ensuring seamless processing of product mixes/dough and it’s evaluation after mixing. The Baker understands the impact of this position as it directly effects the overall final quality of our products as it is one of the first and most important steps of the production process. The incumbent will be responsible to produce the prescribed quantity of dough and operation of the mixer machine while meeting the quality standards. The Baker is also responsible for the documentation and control of the utensils/tools for the respective machines. The Baker must be prepared to work as a team member and with minimal supervision, follow all GMP, safety and food safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a manufacturing environment. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

 

  • Perform pre-operational inspection on operating equipment in the mixing before start and document it.

  • Follow the mixing schedule as required and laid out by the Production Supervisor/Manager.

  • Proper communication with lead hand and warehouse team to get the ingredients on-time to respective machines.

  • Gather, measure, and mix dough ingredients as per the quality guidelines using dedicated bins/containers /mixing machine and then transfer into the dough buggies.

  • Perform proper identification, colour coding, allergen management and temperature check for each batch.

  • Transfer ingredients and buggies from one location to the other whenever required.

  • Float from one station to another effortlessly to ensure product quality standards are maintained.

  • Manage dough quality and recipes with other production team members.

  • Ensure our high-quality standards are being met with every batch we produce by checking each batch for quality and accuracy - delivering a world class finished product each time.

  • Perform sensory evaluation of all batches mixed includes baking and keeping samples and documentation before its being processed.

  • Responsible to follow the color coding, maintenance, cleaning and documentation of all tools and utensils required for the mixing process.

  • Support other departments and functions of production as required.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of production equipment and floor.

  • Adhering to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety and Health & Safety etc) at all times.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

              Salary: $21.50/hr
