Kelly Services Licensed Paralegal in Mississauga, Ontario

Kelly’s customer, an established full-service law firm in Mississauga specializing in various forms of debt recovery including both secured and unsecured collections, are looking for Licensed Paralegals to join their team.

RESPONSIBIITIES:

  • Preparation and drafting of Statement of Claims.

  • Preparation and drafting of Default Judgments.

  • Preparation of Motions, AOS, Affidavits of Enforcements.

  • Garnishment follow ups.

  • Writ filings.

  • Calls to debtors with a view to resolving outstanding judgment debts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada and have a current active status.

  • At least one to two years paralegal experience preferred.

  • Ability to adapt easily to custom built software.

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills

  • Excellent Organizational skills

  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work with a team.

  • Targets driven and self-motivated.

  • $45k Salary with benefits after 3-month probationary period.
