Position Purpose

Senior Drafter Layout Specialist is the responsible to do and ensure the correct execution of AutoCAD drafting of all layers of all new and existing AutoZone store prototypes by the Drafter Layout specialist, as well as supervising the correct maintaining and updating current prototypes, including fixture layer, text layer, dimensional layers and reset projects as well as uploading on time the correct FOG line list for new stores. Audits and modifies existing AutoZone store prototype layouts based on changes made by Store Operations as well as generate new proposal prototypes working with the different AutoZone deparments .Documents changes appropriately across functional areas on AutoZone store layout for the set-up department and store operations as required.

Primary Accountabilities

• Defines, supervises ,completes and reviews the detail layers required for all new and existing stores and HUBs including updating, reviewing and modifing prototype plans appropriately for any change request by Merchandise according to space strategy. These layers include Merchandise text -Floor displays, location codes, trim - fixture codes used to determine size, fixture type, positioning, and dimensional information and also considering the correct adjancey merchandise.

• Supervises and review the correct execution of new stores´POG clonation process, review and upload FOG Linelists, fixture downloads by the Drafter layout specialist and deliver information (POG/FOG Packet and price labels) so that set-up team can execute according to IDS dates. Coordinate the correct execution of Reset proyects working closely with Process improvement Project Manager. Validates store layout needs related to sales floor fixtures caracteristics, hard parts racks, correct FOGs locations and any kind of aditional need (Electrical, sales floor signage, POGs and FOGs implementation ,etc).

• Manages and coordinates Hard Parts flexograms for stores. This includes:

• Coordinates Kick Off meeting for Flexogram Line Review

• Defines Space disposition for Flexogram in store / digital

• Sets Spanish descriptions of skus ADDs / Keeps of Flexograms

• Generates and distributes Zoner Action Plan (ZAP) and Schematic for each flexogram

• Sets and ensures the correct sequencing according to the strategy of each flexogram (Part Numbers, Sub Categories (Major / Minor), Brand, Prefixes, etc.)

• Generates linelist comparison (Map) of each category vs Space disposition for Line Review Tracker (LRT) ensuring the correct assignment of parts to stores based on their capacity -Acts as the main flexograms contact for operation and merchandising team to ensure its correct implementation and use.

• Manages, coordinates and executes layout improvement projects. These may include:

• Generate and leader Kick Off meetings

-Coordinate and Delegate responsibilities on functional areas according to need

-Define execution dates

-Coordinate execution in a timely manner

-Ensure the correct project closure of each functional area

• Manages and generates spaces optimization efforts in Hard Parts area (Stores / HUBs / MegaHubs)

• Generates and updates schematic diagrams for each Flexogram based on space disposition and space optimization better practices

• Ensures Schematic are used and correctly executed

• Manage special space related projects on Hard Parts and sales floor from hypothesis generation until evaluating results in the established time

Education & Experience

Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.

Area of Study: Business, Engineering, Technology, Indsutrial Design, Arquitecture

Years of Experience: Five to seven years.

Type of Experience: Project management, Retail, Store Operations, Merchandising, Visual Design

Special Certifications or Technical Skills: AutoCad

Other/Preferred: JDA Space Planning, SpaceMan, Intermediate English, Project Management skills
