The world’s top companies across every major industry trust Teradata to improve business performance, enrich customer experiences, and fully integrate data across the enterprise.

What You'll Do

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic vision and execution of product management for Teradata's Core Engine and the Cloud and On-Premises platforms that the Engine operates on. As the Vice President, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of Teradata's Product offerings by ensuring a clear strategy and seamless adoption of Teradata’s Engine and the various permutations of infrastructure and services across all CSP and On-prem platforms. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation – simplifying how people access Teradata’s Data and AI platform products, enhancing the stability and capabilities of our platform offerings, and aligning consumption across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid deployment options.

In this role, you will actively align the broad delivery teams to ensure we are investing in our differentiated Engine - ensuring that we continue to exceed competition in the at-scale, efficient, and performant Engine. You will lead the Product teams to maximize modern infrastructure to gain the best price/performance per deployment model. You will also ensure tight alignment with Teradata’s strategic infrastructure providers and the broader Open-Source community, to ensure these external products and offerings meet Teradata’s requirements for enterprise-class systems. Additionally, you will provide leadership and input on negotiating vendor contracts and vendor costs to ensure the products and services Teradata requires meet our product objectives.

To support our customers and partners, you will meet regularly, across wide audiences, to aid Teradata sales initiatives and ensure a broad understanding of the Engine and Platform strategy and direction to solve the most pressing Enterprise Data and AI problems.

The impact of this role is significant and influences the entire Teradata product landscape. You will drive the evolution of our Engine and underlying Infrastructure, ensuring a differentiated platform offering that exploits the combination of core data insights and query optimization, cloud provider offerings, and proprietary services – all to maximize performance, scalability, and flexibility of these platforms. Your strategic decisions will directly contribute to Teradata's market leadership, customer satisfaction, and strategic differentiation.
