On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary

This product management position is ideal for customer-focused product managers with a proven track record of delivering transformative solutions. You will lead, learn and contribute by working cross-functionally with colleagues across many areas, including network technology, client operations, marketing and IT to accelerate Bell’s 5G product leadership. You will build innovative new products that also enhance the ways our customers engage with Bell services and content.

This is a particularly exciting time, as Bell is aggressively investing in its largest capital acceleration project in our company’s 141-year history. Familiarity with telecommunications, digital apps, IoT and MEC are beneficial skillsets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product development including creating product requirements, and concept design analyze product lifecycle performance

  • Market research and preparing business case justification for product investments

  • Lead cross functional engagements through all stages of ideation, funding, design and execution to deliver complex customer-focused services on time and on budget

  • Identify launch strategies and post-launch support, reporting and analytics with the customer experience being paramount

  • Collaboration and cross-domain partnering

  • Effectively build relationships including external partners to execute new 5G services

  • Manage development and product releases with internal cross functional groups

  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving and skilled in communicating new business models with stakeholders in ambiguous circumstances

  • Develops models and scenarios to forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual performance

  • You are relentlessly focused on delivering the best customer experience possible

  • Proactively monitor product performance and service availability with a “customer first” mindset

Impact and Influence:

  • You motivate your stakeholders by evangelizing your thought leadership, but you are also willing to dive-in to supporting breaking down siloes

  • Entrepreneurial with a roll up your sleeves and get things done attitude to drive innovation

  • Motivated and comfortable leading others during workshops and other cross-functional processes.

Interactive Communication:

  • Excellent presentation skills to clearly and effectively communicate across departments and external partners

  • Bilingual (French/English)

Product Development:

  • 2-3 years of practical experience in comparable industry

  • Technically inclined with business sense

  • Working knowledge of Telecommunications products and next-gen customer needs (streaming, social media, cloud, 5G)

  • Strong command in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other digital virtual communication platforms (i.e. Jira, Miro, Slack, etc.). For recent graduates we will consider relevant academic experience (i.e. projects, coop terms, etc.) in lieu of industry tenure.
