Jacobs est à la recherche d’un Conseiller principal en transport ferroviaire à temps partiel pour rejoindre son équipe au Canada. À ce poste, vous serez responsable de la prestation de services de conseil et d’ingénierie dans le secteur ferroviaire. Jacobs is seeking a part-time Senior Rail Advisor to join the Canada Team. As a Senior Rail Advisor, you will be responsible for providing consultancy and engineering services in the rail market for Canada. The role will assist with advising in project delivery, transportation planning studies, preliminary design studies and final design of rail improvement projects.

Profil recherché :

• Diplôme universitaire en ingénierie ou équivalent

• Minimum de 20 ans d’expérience sur des projets ferroviaires ou de transport en commun, incluant la planification ferroviaire, la gestion de conception, l’exploitation et la maintenance, l’alignement des voies, ainsi que les infrastructures ferroviaires et le drainage

• Connaissance approfondie des réglementations et normes en vigueur, notamment celles de la FRA/DOT, de Transport Canada, des règles de sécurité ferroviaire, de l’AREMA, de l’UPRR, ainsi que d’autres critères ferroviaires locaux, régionaux et nationaux

Atouts :

• Réseau établi auprès de clients locaux

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent

• Minimum 20 years' experience on rail or transit projects such as railway planning, design management, operations and maintenance, track alignment, general rail civil and drainage.

• Knowledge and understanding of FRA/DOT, Transport Canada Safety Rules, AREMA, UPRR, and other local, regional and national railroad criteria.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Established local client relationships
