CAE USA INC Treasury Analyst in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

About This Role

Reporting to the Manager, Global Cash Management and Financial Risk Management, you will be responsible of short-term cash forecasting activities and optimize CAE’s liquidity globally. You will support the team in structuring and executing intercompany financings, as well as coordinating the repatriation of cash surplus held by foreign subsidiaries.

Position Profile

  • Update the short-term cash forecast and monitor our cash pools on a daily basis

  • Lead daily cash calls and recommend actions to optimize our liquidity

  • Support the team in the execution of the intercompany funding plan aligned with business needs and CAE’s growth plan

  • Recommend, implement, and document cash repatriation initiatives in collaboration with Finance, Tax and Legal teams, in respect of Corporate Policies and Procedures

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various Finance teams at Corporate Office and at CAE entities around the globe towards achieving common goals

  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives such as process automation, simplification, eliminate duplication, integration of financial tools, etc

  • Participate in the financial reporting process, internal and external audits, and prepare various ad hoc analysis as required by senior management and business partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

  • Master’s degree and/or a professional designation (CFA, FRM, CTP), an asset

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience with an international Treasury department

  • Experience with a treasury management system, an asset

  • Excellent team player

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with attention to detail and rigor

  • Well-organized and able to handle simultaneous requests

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken)
