OPEX Corporation Mechanical Assembler in Moorestown, New Jersey

Position Summary:OPEX Corporation is looking for multiple full time Mechanical Assembler’s to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. We are looking for a worker who can commit to a full-time schedule on the 7:00 - 3:30 shift. This will be a temp to hire position. We will pay a competitive rate for this position, based on experience. Due to the nature of our work, overtime (and weekends) may be required without advance notice. We are looking for dependable, organized, mechanically skilled individuals for this opening. If you are a communicative, diligent, punctual and detail-oriented individual that works well with a team then OPEX may be the right place for you to pursue your career.Essential Responsibilities:Read and understand assembly drawingsAssemble/build mail automation equipmentUse both hand and power tools to assemble equipmentWorker will be responsible for working both independently and within a team depending on the projectOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Must have the ability to read assembly drawingsMust be able to recognize parts (pulleys, bearings, springs, gears)Must be able to identify hardware (screws, bolts, nuts, washers, snap rings)Strongly prefer candidates with previous experience using both hand and power toolsDrug screen required for positionDue to the nature of our work, overtime (and weekends) may be required without advance noticePhysical/Work Environments:Worker will be working in a warehouse environmentAbility to maneuver a job site, including small spaces in around our equipmentSitting and standing for an extended period of timeWorker must be able to lift 50 poundsSquatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur while on the jobAbout UsCompany OverviewOPEX Corporation is more than a manufacturer of machines.
