Background on the Team

We are looking for career-minded professionals with global perspective to join the Mumbai based Investment Management’s Global Risk & Analysis Non-Financial Risk team as an Associate. The role will be responsible for governance of Third-Party relationships and activities related to the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of Third-Party Services throughout their lifecycle. A successful candidate has experience in or knowledge of third-party risk processes and risk assessment.

In addition to the responsibilities laid out below, the successful candidate will play a support role in delivering projects, ranging from short-term strategic assessments to large-scale change risk initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

· Direct and facilitate for the Business Unit, to ensure, all divisional suppliers with services in scope for Third Party Risk Management are logged completed and updated in Firm risk assessment platforms.

· Collaborate with stakeholders in the design and implementation of tooling to support the Non-Financial Risk teamandassist in the development of procedures and documentation.

· Assist with the review vendors for the divisions the third-party preselection process framework and onboarding of services into Firm tooling.

· Oversee and enforce divisional compliance with Firm third-party requirements as Third-Party Single Point of Contact. This is inclusive of issue tracking and remedial efforts, providing feedback for ongoing improvement, and supporting other initiatives.

· Assist in the implementation and coordination of divisional third-party strategy in conjunction with business including developing procedures and processes.

· Assist with providing Program training provided to new Service Owners and the change control process for changes to third-party program processes/procedures, systems and reporting or data.

· Coordinates with the Firm Due Diligence Groups and Control Groups to confirm that appropriate due diligence and risk assessments and ensure remedial actions are complete.

· Liaise with owner as needed to close open items including resolving any procedural exceptions or breaches by ensuring active contracts exists.

· Develop and provide reporting to provide visibility into status of active Third-Party Services as well of services undergoing onboarding or termination.

· Assist with coordination of significant Third Party-related incidents as required.**

· Assist with enhancements and innovation efforts for both NFR reporting and priority management.Partner with our broader NFR team to align on stakeholder communication, resolve conflicts and manage risk, issue, and dependency escalations.__

Skills desired

· 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in financial services industry, or other highly regulated industries

· Excellent communication and presentation skills and proven ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and peers, earning their trust and establishing credibility.

· Experience in vendor management/supplier management and Third-Party supplier management or related risk experience preferred.

· Ability to analyse data, extract key information and craft a risk view for presentation to senior management.

· Ability to be flexible, adjust to changing priorities and unforeseen events, and proactively adjust strategy and approach.

· Exceptional project management skills

· Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

· Change management/PMO experience is a plus.
