Oracle Technical Enterprise Architect – Director in MUMBAI, India

Job Description

  • Senior Enterprise Architect who will champion Cloud-Native Microservices architecture, SaaS-PaaS-IaaS technologies and models, Generative AI and traditional JEE architectural framework and Database technologies with an Oracle Banking products lens, with very good communication skills at CTO, CIO/CXO levels and internal stakeholder management skills

  • Own Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Enterprise Architecture for Oracle Banking Consulting practice for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa regions with primary focus on a flagship customer Bank in India

  • Identify, foster and define Oracle Banking solutions adapting them to specific customer business requirements with a decent knowledge of transactional flows of Core Banking – CASA, Payments, Limits, Lending and Trade Finance

  • Understand customers’ business and IT strategic requirements and identify transformational opportunities to assist the customer achieve its strategic goals

  • Own System performance, Integration and Data Migration technologies adaption as a CoE/practice for the specified region

  • Gather and assess customer needs, both business and technical and translate into Oracle solutions

  • Effectively communicate with customers to be able to articulate both the high-level principles and detail of all service components in a proposed customer solution

  • Build customer loyalty through achieving a trusted advisor relationship

  • Work proactively to build and leverage an effective and extensive network across Oracle LoBs – be seen, respected and in demand across Oracle as a high value asset and an SME in Banking solutions

  • Drive compelling proposals, presentations, and other customer and internal communications and discussions during opportunities

  • Add clarity to business requirements; challenge business requirements and demands, to ensure high quality solutions are created

  • Think outside of the box to support the business in delivering its strategic objectives rather than just responding to a pre-defined request

  • Partner with key roles to create solutions that are aligned with architecture principles and leverage common solutions and services

  • Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems

  • Translate gaps between current state of tech landscape and strategy into a project plan/roadmap

  • Contribute to overall architecture and design, working closely with the enterprise architect

  • Create high level designs for end-to-end solution, get it reviewed and approved by appropriate internal and external stakeholders

  • Champion the vision and strategy with team and support decision making with the team

Career Level - IC5

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; Master's degree in Business or Technology is an advantage

Formal architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent)
