General Summary:

We are looking for a compute expert to join our Product and Technology team managing all Qualcomm products, including compute and AI, in the European region.

The candidate should have a deep technical expertise in compute and AI platforms, including understanding of technology evolution and current state of the art. The ideal candidate should have a technical understanding of x86 and ARM chipset architectures, CPU, GPU, NPU, and AI software stacks in laptops, desktops, and servers. They should have an understanding of high level operating systems including Windows and the relevant enterprise tools for remote management, as well as an understanding of benchmarks and evaluation tools.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Serve as the face of the Qualcomm compute and AI products within the European region

• Communicate compute and AI product roadmaps to external stakeholders including PC OEMs, retailers, enterprises, and commercial channel partners

• Evangelise Windows on ARM and Qualcomm AI tools to ISVs and AI developers

• Provide support to the sales and marketing teams by communicating product features and functionality

• Understand and consolidate market feedback and requirements and work with product management to evolve the product roadmap accordingly

• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and sales

Skills/Experience:

• Understanding of complex technology products in compute businesses with knowledge of global dynamics of PC OEMs & consumer electronics markets

• Understanding of the evolving landscape of AI in compute platforms in the cloud and on device, including AI stacks for GPUs/NPUs for Windows

• Expert technical understanding and hands-on experience in PC and Windows technologies

• Proficient and detailed understanding of product development of compute products such as notebooks, desktops, tablets, & mobile

• Hands on experiance of benchmarking tools and methodologies

• Understanding of Windows security, management, and associated enterprise tools

• Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally and externally

• Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills

• Self-motivated and result-driven

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years product development role in technology companies

• Pre-sales business development experience desirable

• Masters degree and above in technology preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology

• Proficient in English.

• Proficiency in German is highly desirable; other EU languages a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
