POSITION SUMMARY: The Student Program Associate will support the growth of the Tidelands Health Student and Volunteer Program through support on the front and back end of operations. He or she will assist with document maintenance and engage with students and volunteers to facilitate the onboarding process and provide guidance to ensure a successful experience onsite.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with maintenance of clinical affiliation agreements and certificate of insurance documents.

  • Facilitation of the onboarding and orientation process for volunteers and students

  • Maintenance of the tracking of students and volunteers

  • Complete system wide volunteer assessments to identify areas of the organization that would benefit from students or volunteers

  • Facilitate partnerships with educational partners (offering tuition discounts for staff)

  • Attend community events as needed

  • Assists with HR staff and general HR department activities

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE : 1 year relevant professional experience.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES :

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail, required.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects to completion, required.

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, required.

  • Must have reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION : Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

PAT RATING:

Physical Requirements : Light Physical Agility Test (PAT) Rating

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert up to 15 pounds of force occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
