PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

\

• Develop and optimize Quality Plans, Quality Assurance documents and Inspection Plans for parts and assemblies.

\

• Gather and analyze performance data (scrap, rejections, defects, rework) to aid in the development of process

improvement projects.

\

• As needed, coordinate across other production and functional areas to ensure maximum quality and efficiencies are

achieved.

\

• Assist in conducting audits in production or functional areas or within the supply base (external suppliers).

\

• Assist in accomplishing the required corrective action.

\

• Prepare periodic activity and status reports. Perform assignments as required by management.

\

• Review data, prepare presentations, write reports as needed.

Qualifications

\

• Candidate needs to have Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Industrial engineering.

\

• Candidate should possess 4 – 6 years of relevant experience.

\

• Candidate needs to have solid understanding of Quality processes, manufacturing methods, engineering drawings, and

BOMs.

\

• Prior experience with conducting internal or external audits would be preferred.

\

• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 Standards would be preferred.

\

• Familiarity with the use of tools such as PFMEA, 6 Sigma, Lean Principles, and statistical techniques would be

preferred.

\

• Excellent written, verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills are essential to communicate with domestic and

foreign counterparts.

\

• Candidate should possess good understanding of concepts and practical approach to problem solving.
