You as an Accountant/Jr. Controller are responsible for general accounting operations and assisting the local Finance Lead in the month-end close process, monthly reconciliations and financial reporting, and will be located in Mölndal with a hybrid work model.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Prepare monthly accounts reconciliations

• Monitor monthly and annual financial accounts according to US GAAP and local accounting standards

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Maintain general ledger

• Internal / external audit processes

• Backup Controller and provide ad hoc finance tasks when required

The essential requirements of the job include:

• B.Sc. degree in Business & Economics, Business Administration or similar.

• Experience in Swedish and/or Norwegian GAAP. US GAAP experience is a great advantage.

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges.

• Experience from an audit firm is advantageous.

• Good knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements and Internal Control procedures.

• Both Swedish and English fluent. Other Nordic languages are an advantage.
