Job Title: Coordinator, A&R
A little bit about our team:
The Coordinator of the A&R department provides support to the VP and SVP of A&R. This role is essential, not only to the department, but to the overall success of the employees and artists of Warner Music Nashville.

The Coordinator of the A&R department acts as a liaison between all other departments within Warner Music Nashville and provides the opportunity for intentional career development.
Here you’ll get to:
Coordinate expense reports for the department.
Book travel for the department.
Liaise between A&R Administration department and other departments in company.
Liaise between A&R team and Studio.
Lead studio requests when vital.
Keep up with all messages and traffic within the A&R department daily.
Track artist hold, pass, and cut lists.
Connect with publishers about the progress of songs, recording schedules, and artists’ needs.
Maintain A&R Database with email addresses, phone numbers, and all other information on artists, songwriters, managers, promoters, agents, and publishers.
Liaise with live events department to book showcases, performances, listening events, release parties and publisher meetings.
Maintain and prioritize A&R Box (all audio files).
Connect with all departments, artists, and managers to facilitate distribution of audio components.
Facilitate the selection, creations, and dissemination of Radio Hooks.
Attend weekly A&R Administration meetings.
In partnership with A&Rs, liaise with production coordinators for artist projects. Ensure all deadlines are met regarding budgets, label copy, publisher and writer credits.
Build and edit companies phone hold music and digital visuals within the office.
Acquire A&R audio approval for every piece recorded and send to the A&R Administration Department, WEA Studio Services, and all people involved in Postproduction.
Ensure all music distributed inter-company, to partners, artists, managers, is up to date with most current mixes/masters, and titles.
Send PREAMP protected audio when requested
Maintain traffic and requests/emails from A&R team members. Update news items, artist info, etc.
Maintain Artist Roster and Competitive Label Artist rosters.
Track and prioritize live, alternate, acoustic, remix versions of catalog and mix/fix associated with each
Track and coordinate ATMOS mixes of catalog.
Own the department’s Emerging Talent Associate program.
Process ATMOS mixing and mastering.
Conduct appropriate callbacks, emails, or letters to aspiring artists or songwriters.
Acquire A&R audio approval for all recordings and send to the A&R Administration Department, WEA Studio Services, and all peoples involved in Postproduction.
Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information.
Rockstar candidates will have:
General computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google
1-3 years in the music business/A&R experience
Knowledge of general business practices, a strong work ethic, strong organization skill, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills (written and verbal); particularly, ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, including artists, managers, staff, and fans.
Knowledge of country artists and their music
A high school level education or its equivalent; some college preferred.
