Job Summary and Qualifications
The Consulting Product Analyst reports to the Support Manager, 3M HIM Technologies. Acts as subject matter expert all Solventum HIS products, including the 3M Web Coding and Reimbursement System (3M CRS), the 3M 360 Encompass System, and the 3M Audit Expert/Health Record Management Software (AEHRM). The candidate understands the application of various regulatory products, including grouper files and code dictionaries, across multiple applications within the enterprise. The candidate acts as subject matter expert (SME) for bidirectional interfaces between MT 5.6 Abstracting (ABS), Admissions (ADM), and Non-Magic Interface (NMI) modules, including HL7. Provides leadership for development activities, product updates, and 3M HIS projects, or for other related products that will interface with these applications. The position provides IT expertise and clinical knowledge in analyzing and collaborating on IT and serves as liaison to internal business owners and Solventum.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Support
Leads the 3M HIM Technologies support team in developing, deploying and supporting a compliant, integrated coding/billing system and related systems.
Works with Solventum HIS, MT, Epic, and Cerner to support and communicates issues to business owners, and communicates business needs to vendors.
Performs Solventum HIS products testing as necessary to deploy timely quarterly regulatory releases and implement industry regulatory changes.
Acts as third level support for Solventum HIS product issues reported to Enterprise Service Desk.
Leads the analysis of business and clinical problems/opportunities in the context of requirements and the development of recommendations for solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Participates in team evaluations to recommend changes to Solventum applications and products.
Leads support teams to define, identify and escalate application issues, and ensure the solutions meet business requirements.
Serves as liaison to internal business owners and Solventum HIS.
Communication/Documentation
Responsible for communicating via multiple media, including but not limited to WebEx conference calls, in person participation and via written documentation across audiences with varying levels of technical expertise
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within and outside the organization

Experience with change management policy and procedures
Experience working with diverse and complex projects
ICD-10-CM/PCS and HCPCS/CPT coding experience or IT support of encoder products
Demonstrated experience in establishing and strengthening relationships
Detail oriented and analytical with organization skills
Meets or exceeds project deadlines Ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing environment
Strong problem and issue resolution skills
Highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
Flexible and adaptable to meet changing priorities
Experience supporting and troubleshooting HL7 interfaces (including ADT, BAR, DFT, MDM, ORU) preferred
Experience with business requirement writing preferred
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree - Required
EXPERIENCE
7 or more years of experience in specifically, related responsibilities – Required
HL7 working knowledge/experience - Preferred
Revenue cycle systems knowledge/experience - Preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING
RHIA/RHIT Certification - Preferred
