Amazon Data Analytics & Process Improvement Specialist, Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Nashville, Tennessee
Description
In this role, you will be developing training and instructions, translating business objectives into operational process content, and will work with both business and operational partners to standardize processes,training, and reporting. You will develop standard work, identify content improvement opportunities, devise strategies and implement changes/additions providing valuable information to the business about leading or lagging indicators. You will be a caretaker for global best practice sharing and documentation. You will develop subject matter expertise in ATS data, and provide timely, relevant reporting.
This position is responsible for content improvement and creation of reporting to drive business insights for Middle Mile Learning Solutions.
You will work with business leaders, data analysts, product managers to develop subject matter expertise in the surface transportation space, accountable to delivering content and reporting solutions that improve network-wide evaluation accuracy, while integrating operational content with new business channels, and creating user stories for product/technical tool improvements.
Candidates must have demonstrated capability to deliver process improvements across network, and operations/program management experience, and ability to generate business insights and reporting.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of program or project management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience using analytical skills to solve operational challenges
Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities
Experience using data and metrics to drive recommendations
Track record of taking ownership and driving results
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience with SQL
Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed documents
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a business or operations role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Teamwork mentality and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
