Aston Carter is partnering with a company in Nashville, TN. They are in need of a staff Accountant to join their team. Please see below for more details. - Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties - Essential Profit Loss Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned): - Preparation and distribution of preliminary and final monthly Profit and Loss Statements, Financial Reporting Interaction with Executives, DVP's, RVP's and location managers/directors - Document and maintain accounting procedures - - Balance Sheet analysis to improve and shorten closings - General accounting support - Essential Balance Sheet Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. - Bank Reconciliations Cash Reconciliations

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily •Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience •Strong understanding of and experience in applying generally accepted accounting procedures in a corporate setting •Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
