NYC based organization is looking to hire an Accounting & Finance Manager to their team. They are in the office on a hybrid schedule (1-2 days), so are seeking locally based candidates only.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the Director of Global Finance in the annual budgeting process

• Responsible for the monthly accounting close and consolidated financial reporting for US Entities for the Leadership Team.

• Responsible for developing and reporting monthly/annual cash forecasting

• Acts as the main point of contact to external auditors to facilitate the annual audit

• Work closely with the Director of Global Finance in developing Finance SOPs, process improvement initiatives, Finance transformation initiatives

• Provides guidance to the senior accountant in managing day to day operations

• Recommends and implements initiatives that will improve financial performance and financial controls

• Demonstrates professionalism and diplomacy in interpersonal relationships

• Review the monthly key reconciliations – Prepaids, Deferred Revenue, Fixed and Intangible assets

• Supervise daily accounting operations and transaction recording

• Support finance partners in implementing valuation models, measuring results, tracking performance vs. expectations, and providing recommendations for corrective action

• Provide insights about spending trends, cost-savings initiatives, and margin opportunities

Requirements

• Accounting/Finance Degree

• 7+ years Accounting/Finance experience

• Supervisory/Team Management experience

• Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
