Position Overview
The Associate Art Director supports the development of designs and concepts across a wide range of media on multiple brands. This position reports to the Group Art Supervisor.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite collaboration. The role will be based out of our office located in New York City. All candidates must be willing to commute into the office on a regular basis.
Specific Responsibilities:
Assist in developing designs and concepts that align with brand guidelines and strategy
Ensure all creative work is consistent with brand identity and messaging
Collaborate with team members to present and communicate design ideas effectively
Support the creation and execution of high-quality visual materials across digital, print, and other media
Work closely with senior designers and art directors to refine creative concepts
Maintain organization and quality control of design files and assets
Stay updated on industry trends and design best practices
Research and gather insights to better understand clients' businesses and creative needs
Requirements:
A Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (preferred) and 0-1 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, preferably in advertising
Strong design skills, with an emphasis on typography, color, layout, and photography
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and familiarity with Figma and general AI tools
Basic knowledge of print and digital production processes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiasm for design and a willingness to learn from senior team members
Salary range: $58,656 - $70,000
The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
