Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in New York, New York, 10010, United States. The role involves a variety of tasks within the industry, including account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and data entry, with a focus on bank reconciliations and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounts payable and receivable function

• Conduct regular account reconciliation tasks for financial transparency

• Maintain and manage payroll systems, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing

• Handle data entry tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Keep accurate records of financial transactions as part of the bookkeeping responsibilities

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the finance department

• Identify and rectify any financial discrepancies

• Regularly review and update financial records and transactions

• Ensure compliance with the industry's financial regulations and standards. Requirements • Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Should have a strong background in Bookkeeping

• Must demonstrate proficiency in Data Entry

• Experience with Payroll is required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential

• Proficiency in using bookkeeping software and tools is required

• Must have a keen understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
