The Nelson Lab at NYU’s Center for Neural Science seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Associate to help discover how connections between sensorimotor cortex and the spinal cord enable skilled behavior. Responsibilities will include experimental design, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting and publishing findings. Successful candidates will demonstrate aptitude in some combination of multiphoton (2- and 3-photon) calcium imaging, skilled behavioral task design, electrophysiology, and viral anatomical tracing.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
