Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building and scaling large scale data and search platforms for unstructured, structured, and semi-structured data.

  • Experience in batch/stream data processing, data life-cycle management, search language and storage formats.

  • Excellent investigative and thinking skills combined with the data-informed approach to decision-making.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google Security Operations (formerly known as Chronicle) is a modern, cloud-native SecOps platform that empowers security teams to better defend against today’s and tomorrow’s threats. This role is focused on driving the product roadmap, vision and GTM for Google SecOps Platform. The scope includes all the post data ingestion elements of data normalization, enrichments, storage and data life-cycle management, powering Search, Dashboards, Security detections, UEBA and Advanced threat intel uses cases.

In this role, you will have experience building enterprise data and search platforms, with a background in cyber-security and cloud technology. You will partner closely with our SecOps engineering team, the Cloud Security GTM team, and various internal stakeholder teams to deliver the best security experience and outcomes for some of the largest enterprises in the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Build the overall SecOps platform roadmap by identifying new strategic opportunities and effectively prioritizing requests from customers, partners, engineering, etc.

  • Drive the entire product/feature life-cycle including scale, performance, and iterate quickly to deliver customer outcomes.

  • Understand cyber-security markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, UX, and other cross-functional teams on cutting edge technologies.

  • Be the advisor of your product internally (including executive leadership updates) and externally (Google events, public events, press releases, etc).
